Jennifer is a two dimensional beat'em up, developed with the OpenBOR engine, in which the player controls Jennifer, a murdered girl who rises up from the grave to exact her revenge.
In Jennifer, players have to control the character through the typical spectrum of horror movie scenes. The difference is that this time is, instead of scaring teenagers, you will be fighting against demonic forces, killing all sorts of monsters rising up from the underworld.
The star, besides being hell bent on revenge, has an extraordinary range of movements. You get several normal attacks and special weapons, and can combine these to create more than a dozen different punch combinations, which all have one thing in common - they have the potential to make your enemies bleed heavily.
Jennifer is a 2D action game, which perfectly combines the gameplay from a 16-bit beat'em up with the look of a nineties horror film: a perfect combination for a very entertaining game.
